Gilbert Khachadourian Jr. has extensive experience in the area of commercial, banking and real estate litigation and transactions, including all aspects of loan workouts, foreclosure and bankruptcy. He appears regularly in state, federal and bankruptcy courts, both at the trial and appellate court levels. Mr. Khachadourian also has extensive experience in real estate leasing and transactions, including commercial landlord-tenant disputes.
Mr. Khachadourian is a 1991 honors graduate of the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law where he was the Managing Editor of the Pacific Law Journal. He has lectured for continuing legal education providers, in the areas of creditor/debtor relations, real estate, bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
Mr. Khachadourian's officially reported cases include: Hinesley v. Oakshade Town Center (3rd Dist. Ct. App. 2005) 135 Cal.App.4th 289 [commercial lease terms constitute complete defense to subsequent claims of fraud by shopping center tenant]; In re Cossu (9th Cir. 2005) 410 F.3d 591 [indemnity agreement and fraud claim by brokerage firm against registered securities broker not subject to bankruptcy discharge]; In re Franklin (Bankr. E.D. CA 1995) 179 B.R. 913 [title company not obligated to litigate lawsuit in bankruptcy court but can require that case be tried in state court].
